Pop-up Events Success

Thank you to all who supported our pop-up events over the last few months and to our army of volunteers who made it possible. Bringing this building back into the community is absolutely vital to securing a better future for the town.

Our top quality live performance events were all sold out and prove the long term viability of the building to generate enough income to be self-sustaining. Our audience included local residents and also visitors from surrounding towns, many coming to Shepton Mallet for the first time, providing a welcome boost to our town centre businesses.

Our programme also included many community events which were able to take place in the accessible town centre location. These included afternoon family cinema, U3A showcase, educational screening, family rave and a private cinema for adults with learning differences.

The community share offer is open until October 31st so please buy shares, spread the word and keep supporting, the more we show we want it the better.

We are very grateful to the owners of the building, Coxley Developments Ltd, for generously allowing us to use the ground floor of the Amulet, and for their patience whilst we continue to seek funding to purchase the building.
