Let’s Buy The Amulet Launches Exhibition

A brand new exhibition is now on display in The Rising Gallery at The Black Thistle in Shepton Mallet. The works will be on display and avaliable to buy until the end of June. This is a celebration of much of the art work that was created for ongoing campaign.

Originally built in 1975 as part of a town regeneration project, the Centre (Amulet) was designed as a state-of-the-art theatre and multi-purpose venue for the whole community. There is now a campaign to re-open the centre for community use.

The bold aesthetic of the limited edition hand screen printed posters and linocut print showcase the brutalist style of the building, and are based on the many events that took place in the venue in 2025 – showing visions for its future.

– A2 Hand Screen Printed Posters (Limited Editions) £20

– Share Certificate Linocut Print on Somerset Paper (Limited Edition, mounted but unframed 500 x 400mm) £100
