Community Share Offer Deadline Extended – (New – Pay in Instalments)

Our community share offer was scheduled to end on 31st August but will now be extended by two months until 31st October 2025 to allow new investors enough time to take advantage of the new option to pay in instalments.

We are also excited to announce a new arrangement that will allow investors the option to pay for their community shares in ten monthly instalments to help spread the cost.

This has been made possible by our project having just been awarded an interest free underwriting loan of up to £25,000 from Co-operative & Community Finance under their scheme to maximise participation in community organisations like ours. We are very grateful for their award, which was also the maximum value available, reflecting their keen support for this project.

So with this new option, for example, someone may apply for £250 of community shares now and be able to pay £25 per month for ten months.  Payments will be taken by direct debit at no additional cost to the investor.  The Amulet project is able to drawdown on the underwriting loan straight away so the full value of the shares is paid up and goes towards our fundraising target.  The Amulet project then repays the loan from the incoming instalments over the next year.

Existing members, who have already bought shares, may also take advantage of this option if they wish to further support the project by buying additional shares by instalments.  Also, any existing member can have their original subscription refunded and migrated to payment by instalments and should get in touch at info@buytheamulet.org.uk if they are interested in discussing this.

We’ve Hit 100 Members!

This week we welcomed our 100th member, and our community share offer has reached an incredible £54,000, that’s over halfway to our minimum £100,000 target. Every new investor brings us closer to buying and reopening the Amulet for good. If you’ve been thinking about joining, now’s the time to be part of this milestone moment.
