Members General Meeting 28th January 2026

Reminder that the society’s first formal General Meeting will take place on Wednesday 28th January 2026 at the Amulet. Please aim to arrive by 6:45pm for the meeting which will start promptly at 7pm. The formal part of the meeting should last no longer than one hour and there will be time afterwards for less formal discussion.

Election of the Board of Directors

The first full board of directors of The Amulet Centre Limited will be formally elected. Please get in touch if you are a member and are interested in joining the board. Nominations close on 20th January at which point a full list of those standing will be shared with members.  hank you to all those who have already put themselves forward.

In accordance with the society’s rules, the original three founding directors will stand down at this meeting but may stand for election again.

Other Volunteering Opportunities

There will also be opportunities for members and non-members to join our wider team on a number of working groups that will be formed to manage particular areas such as:

  • Fundraising
  • Community engagement
  • Researching other venues
  • One-off events
  • Building development
