Following last year’s very successful pop-up season of events, for 2026 we are delighted to be leading a collaboration across multiple Shepton Mallet promoters and venues in the first SHEPTON MIDSUMMER FEST. This multi-venue music and arts festival has FREE and TICKETED events and runs from 18 to 28 June.

Mufasa: The Lion King – Saturday Afternoon Family Film

The much-loved tradition of Saturday afternoon family cinema returns to the Amulet, in the pop-up cinema that our volunteer team have created on the ground floor.

Join us for pop corn, ice creams and fizzy pop.

Mufasa: The Lion King
“Mufasa: The Lion King” enlists Rafiki to relay the legend of Mufasa to young lion cub Kiara, daughter of Simba and Nala, with Timon and Pumbaa lending their signature schtick. Told in flashbacks, the story introduces Mufasa as an orphaned cub, lost and alone until he meets a sympathetic lion named Taka—the heir to a royal bloodline. The chance meeting sets in motion an expansive journey of an extraordinary group of misfits searching for their destiny—their bonds will be tested as they work together to evade a threatening and deadly foe.
