The Highgate Vampire – Theatre
August 23 @ 7:15 pm - 11:00 pm

A horrifying new play, an ink-dark comedy and very possibly the most shocking true story you haven’t heard…… Yet.
London 1970. Something stalks the streets of London – a creature that leaves only terror in its wake. A demon-hunting priest and his sworn enemy, a man who is a tobacconist by day and a vanquisher of the undead by night, both set out to destroy this creature forever.
And now, if you’re sitting comfortably, they will tell you how it happened…
“THIS TALE IS UNDOUBTEDLY TRUE. AND WE HAVE COME TO TELL IT…”
Based on real events, this critically acclaimed Bag of Beard theatre production is an outrageous and hilarious romp through ‘70s London, mixing music hall with a dash of Toast of London, and just a splash of Monty Python. Philosophy and slapstick, hijinks and the contemplation of eternity – vampires, exorcisms, ghosts and a musical number. Bag of Beard set out to tell the tale…. of The Highgate Vampire.
